CONASYS and InHaus Partner to Bring the Next Generation of Online Homeowner Experience to Solo

CONASYS Inhaus DevelopmentCONASYS, developers of a cloud-based technology designed to enhance the homeowner care and communication initiatives for new home builders & developers, are pleased to announce that they will be working with InHaus Development for their upcoming Solo Lofts project in Ballard, Washington. This will be CONASYS’ first foray into Seattle’s condo market and comes off the back of an exceptionally successful launch into the Pacific Northwest.

InHaus Development, known for combining sustainable design with cutting edge architecture, worked with award-winning Seattle design-firm Chris Pardo Design, to create a 20-unit building whose stunning aesthetic is overshadowed only by its impressive BuiltGreen 4 star rating. And it was not by chance that InHaus chose Ballard as the location for their first project south of the border. Voted as “Seattle’s Best Neighborhood” by both USA Today and Seattle Magazine, the uber-trendy district has recently become synonymous with green-design, with the nearby GreenFire Campus and Ballard Public library receiving a plethora of accolades for their sustainable design.

For InHaus, the decision to have CONASYS underpin their homeowner care initiatives was somewhat of a preordained idea. The unique platform will allow Solo Loft residents to better understand and maintain their home by providing them with a cloud-based interactive portal from which they can access all of the important information about their home, such as operating manuals, warranty information or even paint codes. The system will also send residents maintenance alerts, and will allow them to connect with InHaus via a one-click service request function. Peter Kefalas, Principal at InHaus, has been a fan of the platform for quite some time “The CONASYS platform is stunning in what it will allow us to achieve; not only can we better connect and converse with our homeowners, it also gives us the peace of mind of knowing that that once the project is completed and the keys are handed over, our residents will have a powerful tool that will allow them to better maintain and enjoy their home”.

For CONASYS CEO, Jerry Bauer, the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most innovative developers is a source of much excitement. “The Solo Lofts project is an amazing opportunity for us on several different levels. Not only will we be working with an industry-leading developer whose continued commitment to innovation is something that we have long admired, the project itself is in a market where our platform has been making huge strides of late. We couldn’t be more excited!”

Pre-sales for Solo Lofts will be available in early 2014 and the listing will be handled exclusively by Redfin Builder Services. More information on the project can be found at www.sololofts.com.

InHaus & Redfin Partner to Launch New Condo Project in Ballard

SOLO_media800pxSEATTLE–November 13, 2013—Sustainable developer InHaus  and technology-powered real estate brokerage Redfin today introduced a new condominium development in the historic Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.

The boutique 20-unit Solo Lofts building was designed by Chris Pardo Design, an award winning Seattle firm known for their contemporary creations. The seven-story infill project is targeting a BuiltGreen 4-star rating*, with a focus on high-efficiency design and healthy living. Construction is slated to begin in early 2014, at 2018 NW 57th St. in downtown Ballard.

“It is no secret that potential homebuyers begin their home search online. Only Redfin combines one of the most popular real estate websites and mobile applications with local real estate expertise,” said Dave deBruyn, principal, InHaus Development Ltd. “Listing our project with Redfin will reach the most target buyers, resulting in quick sales that will meet our goals for the project.”

Ballard was named “best Seattle neighborhood” by Seattle Magazine and USA Today, and is one of the hottest real estate neighborhoods in the city. Over the past 15 years, condo prices in Ballard have risen an average of 5.62 percent annually, and 8 percent in the last year. The future location of Solo Lofts shares the community with dozens of highly-rated restaurants, shops, and one of the region’s most popular year-round farmers’ markets, within a one-mile radius. Sharing a block with the Greenfire Campus and new Ballard Public Library, Solo Lofts is the latest super-green addition to what is rapidly becoming the epicenter of green design in Seattle.

“We are delighted to partner with InHaus to bring Solo Lofts to market. The building’s premium location and modern green design will really resonate with Redfin buyers. The quality of the project, along with our broad marketing reach online and our real estate team’s focus on customer satisfaction should drive brisk sales,” said Adam Wiener, vice president, analytics and new business, Redfin.

InHaus is the first official client of Redfin’s new premium marketing and listing service, Redfin Builder Services, also announced today.

Solo Lofts units will range from 500 to 1,200 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling windows and modern concrete look floors. The ceilings are more than nine feet for regular units and 18 feet for two penthouse units. A shared rooftop green space will offer sweeping views for all owners. Pre-sales are slated for January, 2014, with prices starting in the mid $200,000s.
