Our Team
Dave deBruyn, Principal
Dave has been working full time in the design field for 15 years, and has spent the last 10 years redesigning & redeveloping residential properties in the lower mainland while acting as a marketing and design consultant for a number of lower mainland property developers. Dave’s keen interest in sustainable development resulted in the formation of InHaus Development, who’s simple mission statement “Live smart, not large” embodies a one-of-a-kind approach to single family property development in the lower mainland.
Dave is fueled by a desire to demonstrate that homes can be built smarter, and of higher quality, while remaining sensitive to our environment and reducing the enormous impact that housing creates on this world. Building smart does not have to mean expensive, and the homes that InHaus Development builds bring a new level of quality and refinement within reach of today’s average homebuyer.
Peter Kefalas, Principal
Born into a family with strong roots in property development, Peter has grown up managing construction projects. Peter’s father began over 40 years ago building homes with Vancouver’s Bosa Properties, before later began acting as his own general contractor for many smaller residential projects. Peter holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of British Columbia and supplemented his education with post-graduate Construction Management courses at BCIT before joining his family’s property development business. Peter has singlehandedly managed the development of over 55 residential & commercial units from concept through to completion.
Peter is responsible for the day to day construction aspects of InHaus Development, including the management of the General Contractors, review, negotiation and execution of all sub-trade contracts, and assisting in the general design of projects from a construction point of view. His strong eye for detail and wide ranging experience ensure that our projects are completed on time, and on budget.
